The large ski resort Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental is one of the largest ski resorts in Tyrol and Austria. In this ski area are popular villages such as Westendorf, Hopfgarten, Brixen and Ellmau. In total there are 9 interconnected villages in the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental.
The ski area is suitable for all levels, everyone will unjoy their holiday, there is a wide variety of blue, red and black pistes. It is also suitable for the little ones, there are children's areas here and the ski schools are also designed to make the children feel at ease. Very often at the ski school you even can get lessons in English.
It is a huge ski area, you can ski endless. In addition to the slopes in the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental, there is also the connection to the Kitzbühel - Kirchberg ski area, which adds another 280 kilometres of slopes! The many modern ski lifts and gondolas take you quickly to the slopes.
What could be better than an endless day on your skis? There are 3 long ski tours of 12, 20 and 30 kilometres. The Salvenrunde is a 12 kilometre route, you go around the Salvenberg and enjoy beautiful views and the most beautiful descents of Brixen, Hopfgarten, Itter and Söll.

In the area there are many different mountain huts to be found, where it can be very cozy.
Here you can sit back and relax from all the effort. While resting you can enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains. In the various villages of the Brixental you can find large holiday homes on Gruppenhaus-Kirchberg. You will find group houses on the slopes, beautiful chalets with sauna and simple group accommodations. A group house in the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental is an ideal base to enjoy a wonderful skiing holiday.
Hopfgarten im Brixental is ideal for both skiers and cross-country skiers. Cross-country skiers have access to an enormous network of more than 70 kilometres of cross-country trails. Hopfgarten is also perfect for skiing: the slopes of the Skiwelt and the surrounding villages are nearby.
Kelchsau belongs to Hopfgarten, here you will find a small but cozy ski area very suitable for families with children. This group house right next to the skilift in Kelchsau is suitable for up to 45 people. From Kelchsau you can take the ski bus to the other parts of the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental.
Westendorf has been very popular with Dutch winter sports enthusiasts for years. The more than excellent après-ski certainly contributes to this. But that's certainly not the only thing: from the beginning of the winter until well into the spring, Westendorf is a great place to ski.
From Westendorf you can easily reach the large ski area. Snowboarders and freestylers can visit the "Boarders Playground", one of the fun parks here.
Westendorf also has over 30 kilometres of groomed cross-country trails and is great for hikers.
In the summer, Westendorf is also a good destination to rent a group house. From Westendorf you can enjoy walking, cycling or exploring the area by car. For children there is "Alpinolino" the playground on the mountain.
The large winter sports area Wilder Kaiser Brixental owes its name to the cosy Brixen im Thale. The village is an ideal winter sports destination, but it is also beautiful in the summer. In winter you go for skiing, snowboarding and of course the apres ski, in summer you can make endless hiking or biking trips through the beautiful Brixental. Also in the summer our big holiday homes in Brixen are an excellent starting point for a great holiday.
Söll has a car-free center, here are traditional houses with beautiful murals. You will find a modest, but cozy après ski. From Söll you can take the gondola into the large ski area of the Wilder Kaiser. The ski offer in the village is suitable for families with children and beginners. From the village you can enjoy beautiful cross-country skiing. There are trails for both beginners and experienced cross-country skiers. For hikers there are many trails such as the Stampfangerrunde, the Kaiserrunde or the Bachlunde.
In the summer, Söll and its surroundings are a great place to be. You can walk and cycle here in the natural park where Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll belong. The region has been named the largest e-bike region in the world. In the evening it is nice to come home to your holiday home in Söll.
Ellmau is one of the charming villages of the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental. Ellmau offers excellent skiing opportunities, descent to the village and in the various bars and cafes you can go for a cozy après ski.
Several trails run through the area so that the cross-country skiers are in their element. For the walkers there are the winter walks. In Ellmau is also a swimming pool (with heated outdoor pool) and a 4.5 km long illuminated toboggan run. In summer you can in the area excellent walking on the beautiful trails that lead you through the forests and alpine meadows. Enjoy the beautiful views during your walk. For cyclists there are many routes through the beautiful landscape, from simple to difficult.
